Are you—or a loved one—a veteran? Barbara and her team may be able to help you collect money available specifically for those who have served our country during wartime.
VA Aid and Attendance Program for Assisted Living
Veterans may now be eligible to receive up to $25,020 of tax-free income per year to pay for assistance with home health care, assisted living or nursing home care.
A veteran’s surviving spouse may be eligible to receive up to $13,560 of tax-free income per year to apply towards those same assisted living, nursing home or home health care expenses.
What Is Your Need?
The need for help does not have to be service related. The VA Aid and Attendance program may provide you with the funds to help pay for assistance if you are receiving care in your home, an adult family home, an assisted living community, or a nursing home.
We’re Here to Help
Barbara and her team are dedicated to helping veterans learn about the benefits that are available to them as a result of their service. That’s why they offer:
- A free assessment to determine eligibility
- VA application forms and assistance completing them
- Legal consultation as needed
- Trust services to qualify a veteran or spouse if their assets are over the allowed limit
You don’t need to be receiving disability benefits or be retired military to quality. If you have questions about your eligibility or how much might be available to you in the way of benefits, contact Barbara.
